Before your facial
People tend to book a deep cleansing facial when their pores feel clogged. That might mean blackheads across the nose, small whiteheads on the chin, or skin that feels rough and full under your fingers.

During your facial
The facial has three parts, and in a deep cleansing facial they usually come in this order. Deep pore cleansing comes first, to lift oil, sunscreen and makeup from your face. Exfoliation is next, clearing dead skin from the surface so the pores are easier to reach. Extractions come last. This is the step where blackheads and whiteheads are cleared out by hand.
In general, many spas soften the pores with warm steam before extractions. You lie back with your eyes closed while your skin is worked on one step at a time.

After your facial
Many spas end a deep cleansing facial with a mask and a moisturizer, so the skin is covered and calm after extractions.

How is the Deep Cleansing Facial different from your other facials?
It is the facial on our menu that includes extractions, along with deep pore cleansing and exfoliation. Our Pore Reduction Facial focuses on the look of enlarged pores. Our Classic Facial with Collagen exfoliates and finishes with collagen to hydrate, so each one has a different focus.
