Before your visit
This service is for very damaged hair. In general, salons see this kind of damage after bleach, color or heat. It is one visit with two parts, and you pick the second part when you book: a haircut or a blow dry. At our spa, Lily and Isabel speak Spanish, English and Portuguese, so you can tell us about your hair and the look you want in whichever language feels easiest.

During your visit
At most salons, a protein reconstruction follows the same few steps. Your hair is washed, a protein-rich product is worked through it and left to sit, and sometimes heat is used to help it soak in. Then the product is rinsed out, and a conditioner often follows to bring softness back.
Once the treatment is done, we move on to the finish you picked. With a haircut, we cut your hair to the length and shape you asked for. With a blow dry, we dry and style it so it is ready when you get up from the chair.

After your visit
You leave with your hair finished, cut or blown dry, whichever you picked. The treatment and the finish happen in the same visit, so there is no second appointment to plan for this service. When it is time for your next cut, color, highlights or another treatment, all of our hair services are on W Hillsboro Blvd, under the same roof as our lashes, brows and skin care.

Is protein reconstruction right for my hair, or should I get a hydration treatment?
Protein Reconstruction is our treatment for very damaged hair. The Hair Hydration Treatment is a different, deep treatment meant to bring back moisture and softness. You don't have to decide alone: when you arrive, we check your hair together first, and then we choose between the two with you.
Is this the same as nanoplastia smoothing?
No, they are two different services. Nanoplastia is our smoothing treatment, meant to tame frizz and leave hair straight and shiny, and it takes about 3 hours. Protein reconstruction is the treatment we offer for very damaged hair, and it always comes with a haircut or a blow dry.
Should I pick the haircut or the blow dry?
Pick the finish you want to walk out with. Choose the haircut when you'd like length or shape taken off, or the blow dry when you want your hair dried and styled with no cut. Either one happens right after the treatment, in the same visit.
