Root color covers regrowth at the roots, while our Full Color goes all over, from root to ends. If you want to change the shade of all your hair, Full Color is the one to look at.

During your visit
Root color goes only on the hair that has grown in since your last color. The lengths and ends, with the color you already like, stay out of it.
In general, a root color visit follows the same steps from start to finish. The colorist mixes a shade for your roots, then parts your hair into small sections and brushes the color onto the new growth near your scalp, one section at a time. The color sits for a while, then your hair is rinsed and styled before you leave the chair.

After your visit
Hair keeps growing, so root color is a service people come back for each time new growth shows again. Many use it between full color visits, and some use it to keep gray at the part covered. When you see your regrowth again, you can book your next Root Color online and pick a time that fits your week.

Book Root Color when only the regrowth at your roots needs color, and Full Color when you want color all over, from root to ends. If you can't decide, book the one closest to what you want. When you sit down in the chair, we talk through the options with you.
