Before your visit
Clients book permanent lip liner when they want the edge of their lips drawn in and defined. The plan for your lips takes shape at a 30-minute aesthetic consultation, before any color is placed.
You tell us the shape you like, how soft or strong you want the line to look, and the shade you have in mind. We go over what a lip liner appointment looks like, step by step, so you know what the day holds before you book it.

During your visit
On the day, the work stays on the edge of your lips and follows the line you settled on at your consultation.
In general, a lip liner appointment starts with the outline marked on the skin, so the shape can be checked in the mirror first. Then color is placed along that line, moving around the lips from one corner to the other.
The rest of your lip keeps its own tone, because the color sits on the outline only.

After your visit
After a lip liner appointment, the lips go through a healing period, as with any permanent makeup on the face. In general, artists give written aftercare steps for the first days, such as keeping the area clean and leaving certain products off the lips, and many plan a follow-up visit to touch up the line once it has healed.
